GG Door Extra-Large Exhibition Hall Door, also known as Elephant Door, is an extra-large glass door. As the name implies, its load is supported by the large shafts (resembling an elephant’s legs). The door structure of the Elephant Door is in the shape of the Chinese character "门" (a single vertical line with two horizontal lines on top and bottom), rather than "日" (a closed rectangle with a horizontal line in the middle). The maximum height of the door panel can reach 6 meters or even higher. The main door leaf features a threshold-free design, and the small access door is hung on the frame of the main door. For the main truck passages and public entrances/exits in exhibition halls, the Elephant Door is a practical, grand, and aesthetically pleasing solution.

The entire door is constructed with section steel, and large areas of glass are used for the door panel to enhance light transmission. It adopts full-length stainless steel hidden top-and-bottom bolts, which not only ensure high product quality but also maximize the overall aesthetics. With no threshold at the bottom of the door, it enables unobstructed passage for trucks and pedestrians.

  1. The main door serves two functions:
    1). Acts as the main passage for vehicles in the exhibition hall;
    2). Serves as the entrance/exit for the general public during exhibitions.
    The main door consists of two integrated double-leaf doors, each equipped with two pedestrian access doors. It is threshold-free and uses high-quality locks. The door leaf frame is decorated with 2mm-thick aluminum alloy profile panels.
  2. he entire main door features a steel tube structure, with its surface covered by 2mm aluminum alloy decorative profile panels. The stiffness and strength of the door leaf comply with the national building load codes.
  3. Only the bearing support assembly and the top-and-bottom lock rod mechanism are connected to the building structure; other components are not directly attached.
  4. This is a manual door with very low operating resistance, operable by one person. The door opens outward (toward the exterior).
  5. When the main door leaf is closed, it is locked via the top-and-bottom lock mechanism to the upper installation frame and the ground lock hole assembly, ensuring that the door cannot be opened without manual unlocking.
  6. There is no threshold at the bottom of the main door, facilitating the passage of trucks and pedestrians. The edestrian access doors open outward.
  7. Bearing support assemblies are installed at both the top and bottom of the door leaf frame, containing maintenance-free bearings. These assemblies provide fixation, support, and rotational operation for the door. The door pivot uses a bearing load-bearing structure, which reduces opening and closing resistance and improves the facade appearance of the door. Both the upper part of the shaft (resistant to wind and instantaneous forces) and the lower part (resistant to fixed loads and instantaneous forces) meet the load requirements.
  8. The pedestrian access doors adopt a center-hung structure, with the door closer integrated into this system. High-quality locks are used for the pedestrian access doors.
